to minimize error how to survey?

We can minimize error in surveying by redundancy of measurement.........simply for length of l1 measuring for n times and doing average of it so that we can minimize the error

first and basic thing is to avoid local attraction error while using magnetic instruments. Kindly note the importance of surveying or the work u r doing. avoid errors like personal errors,carelessness,overlooking... as others said redundancy in observation gives u more accuracy.
