I am going to build an oily water treatment facility on gravel. There will be 500 bbl horizontal tanks, a centrifuge skids and some other skids. We selected the equipment according to how well the loads are spread on the surface.
Our cross section will be: a plastic geoliner, a geotextile, sand, limestone and crushed sand, on top of that there will be a plastic berm with 2-5'' walls, and individual berms for around each tanks and skid. My problem with the berms is that they can get slippery when it rains. DO you know any best configuration than that??? I'm desperate with this case :(
