Volumetric stain is change in volume divided by original volume. There must be some volumetric strain when we blow balloon. But if we take Poisson ratio as 0.5 then it comes to be zero by using formula. How it is possible?

Using formula of volumetric strain as a sum of linear strains in three directions.
