Working from whole to part means first finding the centre point of the required area and and then finding the area. Here the error is elimated.

Whole to part.The name itself indicating that to work from whole to individual part.That means from a macroscopic view to microscopic view.So that there is a very less possibility to get the errors in the measurments.
